My name is Heather and I am the Trans and Gender diverse Project worker at SIN. 

I am interested in hearing from people who are receiving any kind of government payment and are linked to a job active network agency.

I would like expressions of interest regarding a sex worker only workshop facilitated by SIN and run by the Anti-Poverty Network (APN) . The workshop may include such topics as know your rights as a “job seeker” (even though we already have a job); information about the job deed act and what the agencies don’t tell you; creating an equitable job plan; how to combat agency bullying tactics, where to go for help and advocacy, how to make formal complaints, and more.

The workshop will be facilitated by a SIN peer project worker in a sex worker safer space.  I will be attending the state meeting this Saturday and would like the opportunity to pitch this idea. I hope to gather some comments and feedback from the community.
